This time, we have a student from the US who came to Japan for private soccer lessons.
Since he had just started learning soccer, I gave him easy-to-understand instructions on how to touch the ball, kick it, and move around properly.
He loves soccer so much that he even set up a mini soccer goal in his backyard, and he was very enthusiastic about each practice!
The 60 minutes flew by, but it seemed to be a great stimulus for him. His father contacted me to say that after returning home, he was practicing what I had taught him on his own. I was happy to hear from him again.
It’s difficult to teach a lot in 60 minutes, but I would be so happy if our private lesson with me inspired him to practice more independently.
I look forward to seeing him when he comes back to Tokyo again.
