Private Soccer Lessons with an 8-Year-Old Player from a Prestigious Italian Club
I had three private soccer lessons for an 8-year-old boy who visited Japan from Italy.
He currently plays for the junior team of a prestigious Italian club, and his goal was to improve his individual skills while experiencing Japanese soccer culture.
He was extremely competitive and showed an impressive level of focus and commitment in every aspect of training. His technical ability was outstanding, and I believe he has more than enough quality to compete at the national junior level in Japan.
During the private soccer lessons, we not only assessed and refined his technical skills but also worked on decision-making and expanding his range of play, while explaining the differences between Japanese and Italian soccer.
In recent years, the overall level of Italian soccer appears to be declining, and there are fewer training environments that focus specifically on individual skill development. Because of this, the sessions seemed to provide him with strong motivation and valuable stimulation.
I was very happy to hear from his parents that even in a short period of time, their son “changed the way he thinks” and “broadened his perspective.”
I look forward to seeing him again in the future.
